Thanks for the pics Ron, seems so far off. I can't hardly wait until September.

Need to get into posting pics.  Not as tech savvy as I should be.  My camp is a hammock with a rain fly.  Set-up @5 minutes and @10 monutes to tear down and move.  Sleeping bag(35*), under mat and some expedition weight polyproylyene is all I need to down to 19*.  Bought a 15* bag for colder weather.  But this is Texas so might not need it much.   :campfire:    :coffee:    :archer2:

One of these days I'll get a canvas tent, too cool.

Love food cooked over the fire in camp, nothing better.   :campfire:

Pinky,
Love the optimism with the "meat pole" in place in the rear.

This was pig hunting camp in SC in 2010.

Knawbone's T-Wam hunting camp on is wild land near Corning NY. I have had the pleasure of spending time there with him the last couple years. It's so unique I had to add it in here. The floor is wall to wall flat stone.

That venison that Ray and Izzy cooked was AMAZING!  The ribs were equally as delicious, too.

Reddogge, this is an old Elk Camp that my friend and I happened across 20+ years ago while bowhunting. I still visit from time to time with my bow and there is always some sign of elk activity in the area. I am sure it has seen more use in the rifle season.  It is a bit off the main trail but a few others know about it. That level horizontal pole is the give away for the observant hiker.
I have hunted and visited the spot many times but never really had the opportunity to test that pole out.

I'm really enjoying seeing all of your camps. I should be able to get back to doing a little work on my mobile camp next month.
