Here's my updated video on how I prefer to build a custom, two bundle flemish string with padded loops. It's still not exactly how I wanted it to be, but I think it's better than my other one. Hoping it can help those aspiring to build their own strings. HD is available for the video.

Thanks for taking the time to show everyone how you make your strings in a well edited video.  I've been making my own strings for a few years, and learned a few ways to make them better. Very generous gift of your time.

Thank you for the kind words Chase. It's tough trying to film these things on your own and get them "right". From filming to editing, this one took me over 8 hrs.         LOL! If I feel ambitious in the future, I may try one more time.

Thanks for sharing the information on UTube that this video provided. I have a string board that I bought back in 2001 and All the materials that I need to make a string so I am going to give it a try. I am very nervous about doing it but hopefully I will succeed or I will try again.
