Chad Holm is building me a Goshawk longbow, should be here this week. And I ordered a Northern Mist Whisper dual shelf at Baltimore in May, was going to here in October but with Steve's move south I may have to wait a bit more.   :biglaugh:

Good to here I'm not the only one with a bow on order. And I agree the classifieds can be very tempting.

I'll be shortly demoing a 2pc Toelke Pika which I may end up keeping if I like it.  Stay tuned for a photo spread and review in the next few weeks.

Pittsley Predator ordered 2 weeks ago. Never shot one so it will be a new experience. I think the low cut shelf will be nice. I thought he said a 2-3 week lead time? That sounds excellent to me!
While its not inexpensive...it is much less expensive than some.
It will be a 62" bow, 59lb@31", charcoal grip area with fall brown wedges. (predators are usually a 2 wood combo for the riser)
And now actually I forget what wood he said would look best on the limbs! Zircote maybe?
Black belly.
I wanted cocobolo for the grip area. but they were out of it and it is hard to get and high priced right now.
I made a string for it yesterday.
