May be moving near Birmingham. I know nothing about the area. Who can answer some questions?

I don't live there, but have spent some time in that area recently for work.

I've met some of the nicest people anywhere near Birmingham...especially out and around...

In my work I have contact with lots of public safety types, and can say the game wardens there in Alabama are top notch people.

If you move there and like to hunt (duh) send me a PM and I'll put you in touch with some of them.

I have never hunted in Alabama, but I did go to school there, so I know there is some great hunting in that state. Also, the Howard Hill shoot at Tannehill Park is just down the road from there. It is a great shoot and will give you the chance to make a lot of connections to locate prime hunting spots.

I went to the howard hill once. Beautiful place. Looking to buy acreage if I make the move. Something for my 3 boys to hunt on and if there is good public land near by for me, that would be a plus!
