LEOPARD

What I do to stop the string from hitting your left arm (if you're right handed), is to buy those elasticated tube bandages that you use for sprained joints ect....then dye them either green or brown so that they're camo. Just slide that all the way up your arm and it stops contact with your string.
Hope this helps!    :bigsmyl:

I use an extra long arm guard of my own design which extends up to the bicep.  Might accomplish the same thing with two separate arm guards.  Would probably need longer bungee cord in the upper one though.  Some people sew velcro strips onto the sleeve of the bow arm and cinch down the bulky sleeve.  Can do this in the bicep area as well.  Even large rubber bands such as those cut out of car inner tubes might be jerryrigged in similar fashion.

Team Realtree sells a brown elastic tube arm guard that will cover the whole length of your arm. The material is similar to a sock. It is usually sold at any sporting goods store that has archery equipment. The cost is around $8

I have one and I have been using it all season. It does the job for me.

I use an 18" strip of velcro around my bicep. Just tight enough to keep the jacket or sweatshirt sleeve away from the string.

LEOPARD has it for me. That is what I use, but also I have learned to bend the elbow ever so slightly and I mean ever so slightlyand this rolls your forearm out of the way. Shawn

I always add a bit more brace height for winter shooting.
