Has anyone had any contact with Raven Arrows in ID?
I sent them a ton of feathers for processing.
I called two months later (like July) and they said they were having some issues. I think they said they have been sick and I was next on the list.

I forgot about the order until two weeks ago when I had to fletch up some new arrows. I called them two weeks ago and left a message but I never got a response.

My guess is I'm out a ton of turkey feathers but if someone has some info I'd appreciate some insight.

The contact info I have is:
Raven Arrows
993 Grays Creek Road
Indian Valley, ID 83632
208-256-4341

Thanks,
JD

My guess is you are not out a ton of feathers. Tom and Jan are not those kind of people. Sometimes things get in the way with life and if it is health related everything else gets put aside. Patience.

I spoke with Jan last Thursday (checking on some feathers I sent for processing).
She mentioned that they had a machine breakdown and that has put them behind. She anticipated my order should be done this week.
Call again and leave your name & number. These folks have been great to deal with - I'm certain you'll be treated well too... Steve

Thanks guys.
I've been pretty patient, it's been over a year.
I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Still haven't been able to get in touch with them. I've left message on answering machine and no one answers when I call.

208-256-4341 is the number I have. Can someone confirm the phone number for me?
Thanks.

Yep that is the number. Try calling in the evening, after 7:00pm eastern time. I usually do my own but got lazy and sent a bunch of goose feathers to be ground months ago and am still waiting. I wish I had done them myself.

If they have run into some health, family, household, financial...whatever issues,  that is understandable and I think almost everyone on Tradgang would be understanding and patient.  But,  no communication, return calls or return of feathers after a year would be the maddening thing.  No real excuses for that.

I feel for you JD. I can understand having issues, but being ignored is unacceptable.

They got back to me today. They apologized for their error and stated they would try to get my feathers out shortly.
They sounded sincere in their apology, so we'll see what happens.

Final update:
I called again last week since it's been over a month since I last talked to them. They provided another apology about misplacing my feathers again. They did send my feathers out with expedited shipping. I received my fletchings early this week.

It looks like this was a mistake of misplacing my order, twice.
So it ended well, just took a while.

That would that a long time to grind and chop a ton of feathers. That's 2000 lbs of feathers
Probably cost a bunch to ship too.

LOL, not literally a ton of feathers.
More like a couple hundred...
