I have a  original Grayling Bear A riser with #1  50# limbs that has never been shot so I figure it's about time...but I need lighter limbs.  Who is making compatible Bear T/D limbs now?  Looking for #1 in 40#@28...tippit

Blackhawk

Personally, I have been very happy with the limbs coming from Bear the last few years.

I agree with Blackhawk.  The newer limbs from Bear that have the narrower profile and smaller limb tips are outstanding performers.

Florida lime

There are several sources, including Bear.

But my money is with Brandon at Rose Oak.    :notworthy:
Martin-Hunter & Bamboo Viper, Black Widow Camo PLX, Holm-made Osprey, Toelke-SS #5 & Super D, Brackenbury Drifter, Wes Wallace Mentor, Kimber Huntsman,  Rose Oak-Wildcat II, Ocelot, Ace & 2 Heritage TDs, Bear-'67½  SK & '59 Kodiak Special - all LH

You could order some from Big Jim. He sells Bear limbs. Or, you could order a pair of customs from Rose Oak. But, there is a waiting time.

cacciatore

I have 4 set of the Rose Oak lims, I can't be more satisfied also in comparison of the best performing bows I own.
My advise is to go with #2 limbs with the A riser.

If I recall, Kirk at Bigfoot Bows was talking about making some of his static tip recurve limbs to fit the Bear take down risers. Shoot him a pm or email.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

They are good limbs, I just wish they would make #2s.

Lead time from Bear has improved over the past 2 years.  We will be getting more for inventory early next year.  My first choice would be Bear limbs.

...and Larry, try to convince Bear there IS a market for #2 limbs out here.   :readit:

I would love to see Bear do the #2s again.

Tip I have a set of think 60" and 43 RER real fast, Rose Oaks 44 @28-64" and Jim Gainys at Black Creek when he was making some Bear limbs with White tips that are elk with gray flat finish he did for me but think they are like 43 to 45 maybe on a B. I'll have to check have a of of limbs. Also a set of 38's all camo that I think Big Jim did when he had the camo dip buisness. I think Billy now has the are real nice. I'll get a list together in the next day over weekend and let ya know if ya have any interest.

Just got a #55 set of 2s and I have them on my A Mag all I can say is WOW!!! That bow is the best shooting, smoothest bow I have owned.

As far as I know Border Archery is still making Bear TD limbs?

You might take a look and see.

Border makes some of the fastest and smoothest limbs I have ever had.

Yup.... i've got orders for 7 pairs now... I'm running a bit behind schedule though...... I had planned on getting started on these in October. Its looking like early December now.

Kirk, with your limbs on a Bear riser, would that make it a Bearfoot bow?
