Earned another buck tag tonight! (Doe down)

For the first time in my county we have to "earn" a second buck by taking a doe with our second tag. While waiting for a doe I had to pass up two dandy bucks.

Now I can hold out for a good buck. Since I carry my bow during firearms season, I have no pressure with plenty of meat in the freezer.

I am amazed by states other than colorado.  I get one deer licence every TWO years.   :dunno:

Nice work! I'm sure it was tough passing on those bucks...I had to pass on a nice one last year after I filled both my buck tags.

....it's okay though, we know you sawed off the antlers   :bigsmyl:

Here is a picture of one of the bucks I had to pass on. It was the greatest temptation I ever had to break the law! 15 yards broadside without anything between us but air. His head was behind a tree.

Sounds like you be ETHICAL!  Congrats on t he restraint!

Now with "meat on the ground, (and freezer) you can sit and wait... now comes the real "test!"  :)  :)
