I was out again this evening and saw nothing. Tommorow will be my first am hunt! I'm excited and hope my luck changes! Good luck to all!

Hey Wheels, I saw the part about previous success. Like Doc mentioned, deer do pattern our over used spots. It has been my experience when hunting the same ol' spot for years, that I have those bummer years, and find out later something was happening not too far away that I never saw. Now I make it a point to use a few different spots each season just to cover an extra acre or two.
I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

I guess one never knows but here in southern Ohio it has been very unusual. I have took my vacation to hunt, and have been hunting the last 4 days one day I will see several deer then the next day absolutely nothing its like they just disappear. I guess that's how it goes good thing hunting is more to me then just harvesting a deer.

I hunt three different properties in PA 5C and 5D and things have been very slow the last two weeks.

IMO - Full moon, clear nights, and hot weather are hurting things.

Keep you head up, you never know what is going to walk in..

I've hunted SC PA and Nothern MD the last 4 years...I wont be buying a tag this year....Its a waste of cash for a Non res (especially considering the reciprocity game)!   Both on public and a small track of private.   The private ground is no more, the owners made the journey to better stomping rounds.   The state grounds have been either dead, or crazy over run with people!

MD wasn't terrible, but sightings were rare!   both for birds and deer.   I do believe MD had/has more deer than the areas atleast by the sign we've seen compared to the areas I've hunted in SC PA, but its nothing to get excited about for 250 bucks a tag!

The one fun part of hunting MD....is sitting in stands watching the traffic on the freeway, giggling everytime someone rubs bumpers....slightly sadistic! That and the amount of fox is unreal!  The noise sure beats the deafening silence up here and the screaming ringing in my ears!  driving towards DC in 6 lanes to sit in a stand...hmm, whoda thunk it!
