Maybe everybody else knows this but I never realized that you could buy just the top of Lone Wolf's hand climber for $150.

I just ordered one from Sportsman's Guide with free shipping today.  It ships directly from LW.  I figure that and my Timbertall bottom platform will be a great interchangeable combo when I go from longbow to rifle.
62" Super D, 47#s @ 25-1/2"
58" TS Mag, 53#s @ 26"
56" Bighorn, 46#s @ 26.5"

That is a good tip.  The Lone Wolf hand climber seat is great for stickbow shooters.  I like it because it is fairly easy to fold up against the tree for more room while standing.

If you have a nice climber and the bar is in the way it would be a whole lot easier on the wallet than buying a completely separate stand.

I had a Timbertall and went to the LW Sit and Climb just because of the fixed rail on the TT.
I like the rail and with the LW I can push it down against my legs for shooting.
I contacted Timbertall about a climber with the rail like the LW but he said they are not interested in making such a stand.
Too bad as you can't beat the light weight and adjustment wheel on the climbing bands
Super Curves.....
Covert Hunter Hex9h
Morrison Max 6 ILF
Mountain Muffler strings to keep them quiet
Shoot as much weight as you can with accuracy

yes but that bottom has that built in bow holder which holds a stickbow very nicely right there in front of you,, one of my favorite things about LW no reaching to the left or right to get bow its right in between my knees.

Can you show pic how you use the LW to hold your longbow/recurve?  I have tried it and never cared for it - just seemed like a little bump and there goes the bow?
Everything has a price - the more we accept, the more the cost

Caribow Tuktu ET 53# @ 27 Inches
Thunderhorn takedown longbow 55# @ 27
Lots of James Berry Bows

It also doubles as a great ground seat to hunker up next to a tree. Just wrap the top about 1.5 feet from the ground, bingo!

If you ever decide you want the LW sit and climb top section only I have one I would sell.  I ordered the wide sit and climb top section because, well, I'm kinda wide.  I fold the bar up under the seat and have never had clearance issues even with my 70" longbow.

I can later but its the hole in the middle,, you need the rubber bow grommet that lines around the edges,, or hockey tape. while the bow is strung drop it right in,,    that boot trick is cool but I have my knife, grunt and wind powder in my boots already ((less movement using boots))
