I have seen 13 deer from the stand so far. only two were in range. both young bucks that I let walk. this morning I had a nice little 8 walk under me and I videoed him with the phone. he was chasing a doe but of course she was too far out. oh well it has been great so far. wait one other was in range but I missed

As they said out West about riding horses, "If'n you ain't never been bucked off, you ain't ridden much"

I'd say if you ain't missed, you didn't take many shots waiting for the slam dunk... IMO, ain't no such animal as a slam dunk in archery!

Congrats on so many sightings and some close encounters...that keeps the ticker pumping! I miss it having no where to go so I'm almost envious of the sightings a nd the mmmmiissss!

Keep at it Landon, it will happen. Just focus on the spot, not the whole deer.

I will give it my all! but if I don't kill one this year it's ok. I have learned a lot about myself as a hunter. I know I can put myself in killing range of small bucks. does are smarter

Been a slow but productive year for me....not seeing a lot of deer yet but the ones I have seen were close (10 yards). They just never gave me a shot... eventually that will change
