Is anyone out there making copies of old Bear bows?  I have an older (1952?) Cub that I enjoy shooting, but it is getting on in years, and wouldn't mind one that wasn't quite as old.

Who makes the "Kadiak" recurve, thats a copy of a late 50's Kodiak and a mighty fine bow from what I've heard.

I think its Acadia Woods.

Ancient Spirits make a Kodiak copy as well as Mccullough(sp?)and several others. Ron, send your bow off to bowdoc and get it refinished. it will be as good as new. Shawn

Ron I know of a 1953 in excellent condition for sale. 47#. I can point you in it's direction if you like. Thee are lots of Kodiak copies, but I don't know of anyone that makes copies of the lesser models.
