Nice job on your doe Chad, congratulations sir! Can you email or send me a picture with a phone? I would love to see and get a picture up for you.

Socks, I can e-mail or text the pic--just need to know where to send it.  Not exactly a flattering pic.

Was working on the meat earlier.  Meat seems to be the most tender I've ever seen on a deer this size.  Not complaining, but I am a bit confused.

Had fried inner loin and hind quarter for breakfast.  Couldn't tell one from the other.

Thanks!  That actually is my hunting outfit, minus the shoes (I had on Muck boots).  I just had a mesh ASAT leafy suit on over it.  Coolest weather for opening day that I can remember.  Had a hard North wind, wasn't really expecting much.  Been letting that spot rest, may give it a try again tomorrow.

Well, it's over for my Samick Journey.  Shot a nice fat doe this evening.
Chad,

I thought you was going to tell us you had killed the Samick Journey with your long draw length!   :)

Congrats!

The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
