Ron, I went thru the same with mine.  I don't want fierce, I want to look at it and enjoy it for years to come.

Nice Bear Ron!  What were you using for a bow and arrow combo on the hunt?

ron w

Hey Rod, I used a Zipper ILF with Dryad Static recurve limbs @ 45#. Carbon Express weight forward arrow with a ACE standard head.....total arrow 600 gr. Complete pass through at a distance of 7 steps. Very exciting when your that close.....

Wow, I'm really jealous. I really love fur rugs!

Looks good Ron! It took a little over a year for me to get mine back (not from same hunt or taxidermist)!

Ron, you did good with the rug.  Congratulations.  It's also a good reminder of being in BearQuest camp with the Bowdoc.

Awesome rug Ron, got one just like it with a brown suede leather back. Really nice!

Great looking rug Ron,..I also prefer the mouth closed,to me it is more natural.

congrats! That's a beautiful trophy to remind you of your hunt!

I was at a craft show today and got a good idea. People are using old snowshoes to decorate. I'm going to mount my boiled out bear skull on an old snowshoe to hang on the wall......may come out nice.

Ron, how long will the little lady let you keep it on the table? Looks very nice...

ron w

:biglaugh:  Not to long, the bad part is right now I don't have a wall big enough to hang it up. When I move south that will all change.
