In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Very nice.  Shot looked pretty good for the amount of blood you described.

Wow you did it again,  Way to go Brad.  Where did you hit him as he sure did not go far?  Can you also tell me about your longbow as the last time we hunted together you were shooting a recurve.  Congratulations.

That was a great story with an even better ending Brad!!  Great perseverance paid of in the end...thanks for sharing.

John, my shot nicked the heart (one blade sliced it), and got the lungs.  I hit him right where I was looking.  the bow is a stalker, the new Lynx model. its a one piece short longbow (not short on someone of my height).  honestly, that's the best bow ive tried yet. fast, quiet, forgiving, I just love it.  nailed my antelope with it too.
is it September yet??

All factors included I'd say he'd score closer to 450! Congrats on a wonderful bull, great story, and beautiful pictures...

Great hunt, Brad, I really enjoyed all the pictures of both hunts. Good bull in my books as the younger ones are better eating.A very fine read indeed.
