I'm not sure what it is about the two, but I really like zebrawood and green fiberglass, maybe it reminds me of the old Bear recurves, but what ever it is I sure like using it.

The little bow pictured is only 36" long and 16# @ 21" but it has sort of a "grown up" look about it.  I think the kid will be happy.

Looks like those old Ben Pearson 709 Hunters with green glass.

Classy, Mike. That's a keeper.

Have a Prairie Predator with green glass ordered for my wife. I made some suggestions on riser wood, but am ultimately leaving it up to Mike to choose what looks best. I have no doubt she'll end up with one fine looking bow.

I was given the heads up about getting the green glass from OMC by a customer, and I've made a bunch with green glass since May. I wish I could still get dymond wood, the sort rutland plywood made.  But I've found it looks good with not only the zebra wood, but with shedua, Osage orange and bubinga as well.  It's a nice shade of green too.

Mike,

Do you have any pictures of osage and other woods with the green glass?

Yes, the combo belongs together. I shot with a fella a few years ago that had two restored Pearson bows with this combo. You mentioned Bubinga and it was Bear that chose it with green glass for their anniversary editions. Great work Mike my Grandsons are amped up with the Pups about to be born!
