Hi guys! I'm looking for a short forward handle longbow. One of my friend has a JK kanati. It looks very beatiful and very smooth and quiet. I although find lostcreek looks nice too. But no one have it in my club. Is there anyone who own them both would give some advice? About the shock, sound, speed, appearance and so on.
Thank you very much!

Crooked Stic

Most times a short longbow with a good amount of reflex will have hardly any hand shock.
High on Archery.

Possum Head

My Lifeender will be accompanying me again this season for the 4th consecutive year. No noticeable hand shock. Lots of nice bows of this type to choose from.

I have shot both....can't go wrong either way.

Thank you Terry. Is there any difference of feeling after using both of them?

Thank you Possum Head. Is there any other brand of this type you recommend? Better no more than 600 dollars.

It is hard to beat a Kanati for performance. They are great bows: dead in the hand, smoking fast, cut to center, and the grip is one of the best available. Plus they are stable and durable.

Both feel great, but just a little different...like Joe said about Kanati...the Lost Creek also has a great grip....and least I think so.

Like I said....you can't go wrong either way.  And both are well build and well finished.

Over&Under

I have owned both...Kanati wins my vote every time.
The lost creek is prob a little faster, but the Kanati grip, pointing, quietness, and fit/finish are exceptional...and it ain't slow either

Just noticed you are in CHINA! That's cool!
Like others have said. You can't go wrong with either. I happen to be partial to the KANATI I own a couple and have owned many over the years. It's a snappy little bow. JK has wonderful little 1pc design.
