I received my 64", 47# Goshawk longbow from Chad Holm of Holm Made bows last Friday.  All I can say is wow!!  After some discussion with Chad, we came up with these wood selections.  Riser is bocote with Indian rosewood.  The limb cores are elm and some of the most beautifully figured yew for the limb veneers.  The tips are accented with Indian rosewood also.  The bow handles great!!  Very stable in the hand and shoots a quick arrow!  You will not find a better person than Chad to deal with!!!

Nice Bocote, too.  You never really know what the riser wood will look like until you shape it out. This one turned out extra nice.

Didn't Forest Gump say...Riser wood is like a 'Box of chocolates'?  I think that is what he said...

Here are a couple more pictures showing the overlays on the back and belly of the bow.

That is one sweet looking bow!  Chad is a first class gentleman!  Great guy and very helpful, willing to spend time with someone to help when he can.
