I liked many elements of different bow quivers but I couldn't find just exactly what I wanted So I set out to build it.  First I begged Bill Dunn to build me one of his incredible quiver hoods in Cedar and cocobolo to match my new Toelke Lynx.  Then I contacted Thunderhorn and bought the bottom bracket off of their Lynx quiver system.  My goal was to get the fetching back behind the lower limb and look good doing it.  I made the L brackets myself then put some left over black beaver tail on them that was left over from doing the grip.  The underside is coated with rubberized undercoating from a can.  So far I'm really happy with it.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

Pretty slick Mr. I was thinking about trying a Zipper quiver on one of my Silver Tips after work today. I may have been inspired.

Very nice. I did somewhat the same thing myself.  Made my own limb bolt brackets.  On top, I use an EFA 4-arrow hood.  On the bottom a Selway 4-arrow gripper. Made the arm a little longer on the lower bracket to angle the arrows backward parallel with the lower limb when the bow is strung.

I've never been a fan of bow quivers, but that thing looks great!

Did you say that Bill Dunn built that quiver hood out of wood?   That's pretty cool looking.

No argument from me on that one.... that is seriously cool.   :clapper:

Bob Thompson used to make gorgeous quivers like that when he owned Zipper bows.  I'm glad Bill is carrying on the tradition of the excellent bows and the beautiful quivers.  Bob's quivers were made from wood and had a thin fiber glass on them for durability.  He could match a quiver to your choice of bow wood.
