string tracker and wood arrows

how do you that use a string tracker attach the string to woodies?thanks Burt

I'venever tried it. But have seen pics of a small piece of velcro (the rough side) wrapped right behind the broadhead. Then the end of the string tracked tied on to that.

Cut a piece about 1/4" wide and wrap it around the shaft just behind your broad head. Then tie the string onto it and wrap it around a couple of times. Works great. Would have never found this guy if it wasn't for my string tracker!    
He didn't bleed hardly any until I hung him up.

I used a piece of black tape right behind the broadhead. wrap the shaft once put string and fold back over the next wrap. Worked on bears for me a number of times.

I have some snuffers, so I plan to tie a bowline to the broadhead itself.

I've always made two wraps around the shaft and a double half-hitch. Push it up to the head and pull tight.
