I got a message from Brian Wessel of TallTines archery that my bow is ready! Can't wait to see it and use it during deer season this year. I have been a loyal customer of Brian's for several years and taken many nice animals with his gear.
What stands out the most about doing business with such great folks like Brian is when these good people stand behind their products and go the extra mile for their customers and Brian has done just that for me.

I'll get pictures up when I receive it but can't promise glimmering eye candy...this bow is a hunters bow and is built for the performance and shootablity that I have come to love from Brian's bows.

If you are in the market for a fast, smooth, and forgiving new recurve or longbow I would give him a serious look!

Michael.....YOU BEAT ME TO THE PUNCH!!    :jumper:   I was going post a similar thread with the EXACT heading!!  I spoke with Brian last night myself regarding an issue that I had with one if my TalkTines. It was a great conversation and the issue was solved. Brian's a top notch bowyer and his bows are unreal!!

Brian builds one of the very best bows out there in my opinion; and he is a great guy to boot.

I too can't say enough about Brian. Terrific guy and terrific bowyer. I am on my first Tall Tines but will not be my last. I love my stickflinger but have been planning out a 58" curve just because I feel I gotta have one.

Not long ago I made this post concerning Brian and his bows. I second everything everyone else has said here.

Love mine, first custom bow for me. Brian builds beautiful bows, they are just flat out performers. Smooth accurate fast and quiet, im putting this bow to shame with my terrible shooting prowess haha

I have one and another on the way. I would have to agree Brian makes a really nice all around bow. He is also a good guy and very helpful and easy to deal with. I would recommend any of his bows.

YORNOC

Funny, one of my favorite bows, but I have never bought one from him new. My 2 second hand Tall Tines are so perfect, I have never needed another.

Here's a pic from my recent Colorada trip with my old 58"
And here are my first shots with fletched arrows from the new bow: 64#@29" with Easton traditional arrows. Not my best group but set to improve!

Good Stuff!

I've got a new TT project brewing right now myself!

For those of you of average size and draw length (27-29") Id give the long riser/short limbs a shot...I really like it for stability and good limb loading

Biathlonman

I guess I'm the dissenting vote.  I just had him checker a riser and was not real impressed with it.

I have a 60" Chechen and myrtle 55@28" recurve Tall Tine recurve.  It is checkered.  Love the way it looks and shoots. Especially how quiet it is. It is not going anywhere except hunting with me.
