I've bought 225 grain tuff heads and 75 grain steel screw-in adapters, I have hot melt and insert iron which would you use or neither?

Also

I want to put aluminum collars on my carbon arrows what glue do you guys like for this?

Thanks guys!!!

This will quickly turn into an ad for big Jim's hot melt .
both of your choices will work. I like the hot melt , easier to change things if you need to.

Hard to beat JB Weld if you don't plan to change things, hot melt if you do.

I prefer to use a good quality epoxy for fixing broadhead adapters inside the ferrule of my broadheads.  Make sure you "spin" them before the glue sets to ensure all is lined up properly.

I use Kimsha Quick-Stick hot glue with zero failures on BH's, Judos and FP's.  It allows for removal/reattachment as many times as you like.  Great stuff!

I have the best luck with high temp hot melt on the adapters and JB weld on my collars. Have tried several epoxy on collars an all but JB failed. Seems when bareshsfting with field points the heat builds up and they slide.
