I have been practicing with my 160 cutthroats on doug fir shafts, shooting at my shot out reinhart deer target and have encountered a serious problem with them. When shooting field tips, on the occasion that an arrow would hit a pinch low and hit the internal metal support for the target, the point would just flatten a bit and the arrow was easy to remove. With the cutthroats, the arrows STICK IN THE METAL and are a royal PITA to remove. An absolutely fantastic head, elk beware!

Phew! I've got some,but haven't killed anything with them yet. I started reading and thought,uh-oh. Good to hear they are such a great head.

I have the 250 grain heads and they are great.

I "want" more, just can't afford them right now. Would really like to get the 190's.

I,'ve got a metal clipboard/paperwork holder, been perforated with a .50 cal... Three layers of thin metal, got curious one day, 200 grain screw in cutthroat didn't get a pass through, but there was around half an inch of broadhead sticking out the far side.
