Hey guys,

I'm thinking of taking up archery/bowhunting again after a 20+ year layoff. I intend to shoot traditional as I did 20 years ago (shot a compound for a couple years before dropping out.) Anyway I no longer have any of my old  equipment and need to find a archery shop where I can see what weight bow I can now draw and get my draw length (don't remember exactly what it was).

I did a search on the forums and found these shops.

> North of Atlanta: Schuler's Outdoors- Gainsville GA, Bass Pro shops - Duluth GA, Outdoor Tradtions - Dawsonville GA, Timberghost sports - Calhoun GA

Any others in the Metro Atlanta area or Macon northward I should check out?

Thanks

Bear Country Outfitters, North side of Griffin on 19/41.  Joel Smith here on Tradgang manages it.

How far is that from Mcdonough, GA?  I'll be there for a wedding the weekend after Christmas.

Griffin is 25 miles from McDonough. Same side of Atlanta. Easy non city drive.

Shular's in Gainsville has a lot of trad bows.  Archery Traditions in Athens has a little bit if trad stuff and quite a few cedar arras.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.
