P T Barnum said that there is a sucker born every minute. That is why there are $40 broadheads.
What gives me wings? Flying with my arrows over and over again. And never giving up...For giving up means not believing...

Michael Arnette

Well I wouldn't fault anytime for using them but heck no! I've stuck with heads that run in the $5 a piece

Montanawidower

Some people when given the choice, will buy the most expensive of anything....

I live near a resort mountain town where this is displayed daily.  There are alot of Americans with more money than sense.    :)

Whitetail Addict

Too pricey for a poor boy like me.      For that kind of scratch, they'd have to help with the dragging.

I'll stick with my original Woodsman's. They've treated me good for years, and at least for the time being, they aren't super expensive.

You bet!

broadhead prices are getting just plain rediculous.. dont need to pay 40.00 a head to kill anything..they are just playing up to people who think that the best always cost more..

I will just stick with my 185gr. grizzlies.

I want to try them for sure, just waiting on one of you fellas to buy them for me. To each his own.   :readit:

damascusdave

Barbed head like that is illegal in Alberta so not even an option here...I will buy some ABowyer damascus heads as a kind of novelty due to my nickname...and even a 53 dollar broadhead is inexpensive if it works its magic on a big bull elk

DDave
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

damascusdave

I am going to spend 300 bucks of a kitchen knife because I want...you pays ur money and you takes ur choice

Pointer

Way too much for me on principle alone..lol.

Arctic Hunter

I can't see how a broadhead could be worth that kind of money. Cutthroats are much cheaper and seem pretty much bomb proof, and it still hurts to drop the money on them.

Some people must have more money than sense.

One well known company took the price of their heads from $35 to over $40 for three in one year.  I wish I could jump my rates like that.  I'm out, don't care how good I thought the head was.

It was the principle.

bamboo

made to snap instead of bend???IMO an odd feature to put in the plus column!
how wide is it?----is it stainless--high carbon???-how thick is it??--I like less mystery in my heads and a person can spend they're money any way they want--seems somewhat sketchy to me?!?!?!

Their purchase is 100% optional. Don't understand why what they charge would be an issue for anyone not interested.

TRAP

I can build a dozen really nice woodies with razor sharp Zwickies on the front of all 12 for that much $

Biathlonman

Out of my league.  Even what's out there seems high to me most days.  That's why I went looking for a cheaper option, but you already know about that.  Any day now...

Jeez TRAP where is your adventure? You call the right place and get 12 perfect to nearly perfect cedar or fir shafts for 40 some bucks, a dozen Zwickies for 40 some bucks, another ten for feathers and glue, what do have? An arrow that fits you and your bow, a broadhead that flies good, is easy to mount and sharpen and will kill anything it hits in the kill zone.  All you have left to do is get in the right spot at the right time and make the shot.

achigan

To each his own.Too pricey for me. Too many animals have fallen to---------heads for me to shell out that much.
...because bow hunting always involves the same essentials. One hunter. One arrow. One animal. -Don Thomas
