I'm loving my Whip that Dan recently built me but I keep going back to his site to look at the Pika. I know it's still a relatively new bow but can those of you that own one give me your thoughts on them. Thanks.

A new bow is good, but no one needs better than a whip!     :bigsmyl:

I was at Dan's last month while up on a fly fishing trip. I shot a Pika a fair bit and it is short and light obviously and shoots very much like the whips I've owned, smooth-drawing, dead in the hand, fast and very, very quiet.  Jim

Fred, Once you shoot a new bow its an old bow. Go ahead and order the Pika. By the time you get it your new bow will be really old.

I received mine last month and it is awesome. Mine is all Bocote and 56" @ 28". Fit and finish is typical "top shelf". It shoots much like a whip but on a shorter frame.  Being perfectly honest, I need to concentrate a bit more due to the shorter length but I would not derate it for that. I would definitely recommend it. Luv mine.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback.

TJ, I have to remember that line to use on the Mrs.    :biglaugh:

Fred, you will probably not be surprised that I have a new Super D coming shortly. I looked through woods while at Dan's and he had some Cocobolo and Myrtle that just wasn't fair plus he and Jared twisted my arm.
