I have one on the way but would like to hear from those of you that own one about how you like it. I finally shot one at the GLLI last weekend and it shot fantastic! The arrows came out of it nice and clean and it is whisper quiet. I wouldn't mind seeing some pics if you could post them. Mine is going to be tempered boo core with ash veneers  , cocobolo handle and antler tips. 62"&48#ish@ 26" I am really looking forward to getting it. Thanks in advance

I have had several, still have one and another on order. I like the feel in hand, very quiet and just fun to shoot. The one in the works is going to have a dual shelf with Elm limbs dyed gray. Steve makes a great bow and I like the way they preform.

Sounds like it's going to be a nice one Ron.

Great choice. I've had one in my stable for years. Steve named it the Whisper for a reason. Mine loves heavy douglas fir arrows. Mine is 66"51#@28. Bamboo lams, curly maple veneers, bocate riser.

I bought one from Steve after the trad show this past January and love it!!!! I shoot this bow as well as I do my B/W recurve.  Very smooth and quiet.  Mine is 64" 52# @ 28".  It sounds close to yours as far as the woods. Cocobolo in the handle boo cores, and awesome ash veneers that came off Steves dads property.  I'm not up on how to post pictures yet, but I did have someone post them for me after I got it, you might be able to do a search and find them.  Enjoy a great bow.

Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

Yep, Steve told me the ash also came from his dad. I'm really looking forward to getting it. If I can ever figure out the picture thing I will start posting some myself.

I do but can't for the life of me post them on this site. Check the "other site" under N.M.Whisper and you will see my Bow.

Ron, I found one of your pictures.

I have a couple of them. Very nice shooting, smooth and extremely accurate. the reverse handle is noticeably slower due to design but great shooters. I like it better than a string follow though by a long shot.

Steve Jr

That's a good one, the 2 whispers I shot 1 had a straight grip and 1 had a locator . I went with the locator. It was not a easy decision. they were both comfortable.

I have a proto type that Steve made long before the "whisper" had a name.  Shorter riser section than the "Better" final product but a bowyer has to experiment.  Issue was it began to stack at most normal draw lengths - but with my 24/25" draw it was perfect so Steve double shelved it(I am a lefty) and gave it to me.

This has been my go to longbow ever since and just one sweet shooting bow.  Nothing Steve produces will disappoint and this is just another example of his craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Vesty

Hey Scott. Thanks for posting that photo for me. I appreciate it.

Steve Jr

Bobby, that's what I like about Steve's bows nice clean lines and a pure joy to shoot, carry and just plain admire. Steve is a first class guy

I have a Whisper.  It's named right...quietest bow ever. And easy to shoot. Absolutely my favorite longbow
