Been working and practicing on sharpening various single bevel heads.  I am happy where I am with them but want to go a little further.  I just picked up a piece of leather for stropping to try and get them to the next level.  My question is what side of head to strop??  Back or front or both?  I also have access to a cardboard "razor sharp" 8" wheel.  Would I strop the same side on that?  Thanks for the info.

I have no idea, but I would do it both ways. Doing it on the opposite side of the bevel should only clean up any unwanted micro imperfections.

Do it on both sides. Bud is correct. It will clean up any minor imperfections and leave you with a razor. I've been doing it that way and find I get them sharper than any other method I've tried.
Old doesn't start until you hit three figures...and then it's negotiable

I strop both sides of my Cutthroat single bevels for the same reasons stated above.

Yep, strop both sides and I actually add a very small bevel to the backside, makes blade angle more durable and I still get rotation.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!
