How many do you carry when just going out for a few hours close to home? I carry 2 broadheads and 1 blunt.

awbowman

Two BHs, no blunts.  My buddies think that I'm crazy but I like the lightness of a slender longbow and a sleek two arrow quiver
62" Super D, 47#s @ 25-1/2"
58" TS Mag, 53#s @ 26"
56" Bighorn, 46#s @ 26.5"

Joe2Crow

3 broadheads, 1 judo point and 1 field point

I use a 5 arrow quiver, so I carry 5 arrows! Most of the time I carry all broadheads, but once in a while I will go with 4 broadheads and a blunt/judo. I use the same quiver whether I am close to home or far abroad!

Depends on what and where I'm hunting. If hunting white tails then a five arrow bow quiver.
If hunting Javelina and doing a lot of walking, I have a back quiver with no less than eight.
Never wait too long!

COMPOUNDLESS IN CONCRETE

When I used a 4 arrow quiver, it was 3 bh's and one field tip with a shell casing glued over it for a blunt tip just in case I come across a Grouse.  Now that I have a 6 arrow quiver, I may go 5-1 or 4-2.

Usually 3 broadheads and one blunt.

KyRidgeRunner

I use a 6 arra selway.  4 broadheads, 1 blunt of some fashion, and one field tip.  I like to make a
Practice shot on the walk in of the evenings.  It's about 3/4 mile in to where I hunt so while leaving the truck I usually find a mud hole or bank with a suspicious looking leaf to shoot at.

4 broadheads in a catquiver mini.
