Well, it is almost done, 58" with long limbs and 14" riser. Gabon Ebony riser with a stripe, striped Makassar ebony limbs, eland tips and up the riser, checkered grip and a mastodon ivory scrimshaw medallion with a mountain lion on it. Here are some in progress pics. Beth said the limbs turned out fantastic. Dave is doing the scrimshaw and inlaying it in the riser early next week. Cannot wait for my new baby.

Not sure which set of vaneers Beth chose, I told her which ever she thinks looks the best

Probably gonna need some strings Allen, will have to see if the ones I have from you for my other 58" will work or not.

Dave builds an awesome bow - Danny, is it just the angle of the picture, or is there something going on with the finish on the bottom of the riser?

Troy,

The riser is not finished completely yet in the picture, it is a progress pic, Dave does the final finish once he has the limbs completed and of course he has to checker it and put the eland horn up the sight window and inlay the scrimshaw.

Charlie, no one but me will wind up with it. All the bows on my rack are there to stay. This will be my last custom bow. Will have 4 Schafer recurves, the Huntsman recurve and the Cari-bow Silver Fox longbow. Will be retiring in a bit over a year and will shoot and hunt with them all until I can no longer draw a bow.
