This may be a stupid question as I am new to shooting woodies and glue-ons, but will these fit 11/32 shafts?

Ok... another stupid question. Am I correct in assuming for left-wing feathers I would want left bevel broadhead?

Yep - Left wing will spin the arrow counter-clockwise (looking at the arrow from your bow after the shot) so you will want a left bevel head to get the maximum effect on the rotation and the classic "S" cut as the broadhead makes its way through.

Anyone know the kind of steel these are made out of and how do they sharpen with just a file? I like to file sharpen and then maybe finish off with a ceramic stick and strop.

These are awesome broadheads guys. I've been shooting them for a week and cant wait to put one of the 250's through a couple sets of elk ribs this fall. They are very well built, I like the ferrule too, which has a profile that looks like it will move the least amount of material. The ferrule is also quite low profile, making sharpening a steeper bevel easier as it doesn't get in the way for the stone/stick/fie. Finally, they are teflon coated!!! Great, well designed head. When they get a 300 gr screw in I'll be getting another dozen.

And like others, for whatever reason they are the sharpest I've ever had a head. Using a kme knife sharpener and cardboard

I have mine shaving, excited to use them.
However, that little point on the 'tanto' end isn't sharp. Do you guys worry about sharpening that spot? It seems like a pretty vital portion to need sharp, but I may be naive?

Elkbreath,I haven't used the Cuttthroats but with similar single bevel heads,I sharpen the tips.How much difference it makes,I haven't a clue but it takes very little time and may help a little so...

I thought the same thing,and talked to RMSG. They sharpened them for me when they got them in.

I just freehanded the tip too. It only took a few strokes with the file.

Perhaps the guys from RMSG can chime in with pointers for sharpening the tanto tip? I've used the KME Knife Sharpener for the main edges- not sure best way to handle the tanto tips?

I talked to Ron at KME and he said don't worry to much about that Tanto Tip. Said majority of the trama caused by the BH comes from behind the tip. I'm like you guys, I like to give it a couple strokes at least.

Drag the tips on a file and they get sharp. Just did 6 in no time.
