Hoping someone can help me out.

I have a MOAB on order which will be 55@28 and I draw 28. Looking at AD shafts and see that the lites are reccomended to 55 lbs, and the regulars start at 55 lbs. If I wanted to shoot 30 in shafts with 250-275 points do you think I would be better off with the Trads or Trad lites?

I have shot the Trad Lites for years out of my 50lb bow cut to 30 and with 125-150 grain points. But thinking that with the extra point weight and 5 more lbs draw weight if I need to jump up to the Trads.

Thanks

I have always shot the lites, and my bows are from 50# to 55#@28". My draw is 26 1/2". My finished arrow weight is usually about 550gr. I think you could definitely stay with the lites, but that would depend on what you want your finished arrow weight to be. If you are looking for 575 or 600 grains of weight, you might want the traditionals. Maybe someone who has used both lites and traditionals will chime in......
Never measure the mountain until you have reached the top, then you will see how low it is.

At those weights, with any foc or length, wont matter, the lites are the better choice, imo.

I shoot far heavier bows and yet could shoot lites too.   I shoot hammer heads now, but i've shot the whole range.  Ask Ted Fry, raptor archery, hes the guru here in my opinion.

I think your lites will be fine. You are real close to what I shoot. 62" radical R&D. 56# and draw a solid 28"....I use a 30" lite 100gr insert and a 175gr VPA. I do use 4by4 fletch with a wrap which may stiffin it a bit but not much. They fly great.

At 30" I think both of em will do good for you, lites maybe a tad better.

I shoot a 58# @ 28" Kanati (I draw 28 1/2") and shoot 30" trad lites with 250 and 300 grains up front and they fly great.
