With all of the recent surveillance the F.R.O.G team Scout has put in on counter terrorism we decided it was imperative we move and now.

All indications were pointing to a mass movement of frog activity last night and Scout and me moved in.

Oh boy!  I remember the video from last year.  Looks like you're holding a heavy sack there!

Scout had located a new area that had signs of intense action 3  weeks priors. Him and me being the Commander and Supreme leader of the team struck a clandestine operation at Hayes Lake.

We took out a few bad hombres and departed knowing the Chain of Command had been disrupted.

It seemed that this year had been predestined to come with much trials as we the team had not been able to all be in on the same mission.

The year started with Scout, Sniper and me early in May and the waters were out of there banks and flooded throughout the swamp.

The end results were one bag of legs...

Got these last week. A mix of bull and green.

Hey Guys. What kind of points for your arrows? A few years ago I saw some homemade gig type arrow heads.

Next outing involved Warren the Logistic expert and me as we slipped into Boggy II undetected and removed the "Ruler".

And a few of his body guards.

Austin,

I still use the gig points I made a  couple of years back (do a search for the how to) but here lately have just been using hex heads or similar blunts.

The thing is with the blunts they allow us to shoot through the tangles better, but also can allow the frogs to jump off the shafts.  You have to be quick and grab them if not a head or vital shot.

The gig point worked good to secure them better, but tends to get caught and deflected more often in the areas we hunt.

I have been using a mix of broad heads and judos.

The members of the F.R.O.G team observe the sabbath as we are all honorable men who understand the Chain of Command in Gods creations.

As such I'll leave you for now with this thought...

A minister stood at the door of the little country church after just preaching a message on the "Ten Commandments". A member approached and said " we need more "positive" messages not ones like that, that are so negative".  The minister replied "Thou shalt not steal" is only negative to a thief....

After church the rest of the story.

I salute Team FROG for their relentless defense of our swamps against overpopulation by edible amphibians. Good shooting, guys!

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

Shinken

Good shootin' and now enjoy the feast!

Before going into the Apocalypse mission of Friday night Sniper and me got together for a short notice operation.  Word from HQ showed that a possible obscured lake known as Big Lake was getting some hot action and we quickly mobilized.

HQ's sent us the maps and coordinates and we scrambled to the site.

Just in case anyone get any ideas to horn in on the F.R.O.G team locations the coordinates have been cyber coded to prevent use   :goldtooth:

The information proved to be unreliable as only 2 insurgents were knocked out.

speaking of unreliable, Sniper was in rare form in shooting this night and the least I can say is he showed up.

These 2 were tried (or fried?) and brought to a military tribunal and found guilty.  Their punishment was to be part of a combo of fries and turnip greens.

Looks delish !!!

Enjoy!

Now after a few days had past HQ's again received information of a "potential" threat of a flotilla and possible beachhead at Boggy I.

Now I had already written this off as we had attempted earlier in the year (see May reports) and the Vietfrogs were nowhere to be seen (or were they?).

So were back to where this story started Scout and me have just slipped into the blackness of a swamp, the blackness that a dense covering of Cypress trees and thickets of Palmettos can give.

As we move in I pan the beam of my light across the grassy flat of Boggy I and see several sets of menacing eyes of gators.

One of my biggest fears, and yes even tough men like the F.R.O.G team have fears that grip them, even paralyze them in their minds if not driven out.

Mine is that continuing dream or nightmare would better describe it, of a gator lunging up from under the covering of the grass beds as I move silently through.
