3 months, now second new bow

Three months ago I found local archery club with great field course. I did a lot of shooting in my teen years, fifty years ago. I wanted to try it again but with smaller budget in case bow wound up in the garage next to the he gulf clubs I don't use!
I bought a new Samick Sage and love it. Started to shoot and found traditional 3D matches. Didn't take long for me to start drinking the longbow Koolaid! Found a great bunch of guys and a 3D shoot about every weekend. Came home today with new Bear AuSable longbow and could not be happier, it's beautiful, I've only had chance to shoot 20 arrows but I love the bow!

Congrats on the bow and I think you may have been bitten by the dreaded trad. bug. It's costly but soooooo much fun. :-)))

Yup you've got the fever .. Just put 20 bucks a pay check in a diff account for your future bow buying habit the wife will never know !!

May the addiction begin lol!!!! A wise old man asked me one day, how many bows do you have? I said 8 and he said if you only remember one thing and thats you always need one more then you already have. I remember it too, ordered 4 bows this year and maybe ordering the 5th on friday. I think i need a support group lol!!! Good luck with your bows and enjoy shooting them!!!

You may just get lucky and find the one bow that is all you dreamed about. It took me thirty years and about fifty bows before "The One" came home with me. Good luck you your quest.
