Im too, uhhh big boned.I tried a 2x vest and it fit like a large usually does.Love that camo though and if it fit better Ida bought it as it looked very warm.

I've found the sizing to be pretty accurate. I am 5'10" 195lb w/ a 36" waist. The large in pants fit good and the XL in the jacket was right on the mark.

I am 5'9.5" 195# w/ a 34" waist and the lrg pants need a belt & suspenders and I take a 2xl jacket. Wore the 90% in 14 degree (7 windchill) last weekend. I stayed pretty warm in them. They work well in most conditions with the right layering.

swp-did you wear the 90% gear at that temp while walking or sitting as my experience has been that the stuff is not at all warm below 30 degrees when sitting.

Sitting- wore silk long underwear with wool long underwear on top of it, a filson wool shirt and down vest under the the 90% jacket & pants. Had a silk bavalaca with a dayone wool ski cap on my head. Only stayed there a couple of hours but was warm enough that I think I could have went another hour or two easy. I am pretty cold natured by the way.

For those who wish to try Sitka Gear, I see they are clearing out most of the 2007 stocks at reduced prices in retail stores (including 3-rivers) to make room for the 2008 line. As the company grows, they are trying to respond to more of our hunting needs. I see a cold weather line will be added as well. Mike

I know have the vest and jacket. I find sizes off a bit and xl jacket fit fine but I found the xl vest a little to small and went to a xxl.

I wore this stuff last week snoeshowing at -25 for hours on end and it was great for sheding water/snow and was warm enough as long as I kept moving. The liner inside vest holds water/sweat and soon as I came out of bush the vest froze solid. The jacket did not have same type of liner so it did not freeze up as solid as vest.

As I stated earlier this is high performance gear, designed for high performance not sitting in treestands in below zero temps. It fits tight and is not really designed for 3xxl 4xxxl guys as high performance usually is not the case here. The stuff I have seems to be well made except for the zippers they need to be heavier as I found them hard to use/do up in cold weather. Now understanding this, that my weather conditiond are probably at the extreme end of the spectrum for this stuff. So far I am pleased with it.

I was kinda disapointed in the water repellency (sp) and the fact it is another china made product as is about everything now a days. It is made to layer and probably be fine for that. i liked the cut of the 90% jacket and the 90%pants were comfortable and all, BUT I sold them and bought quality american wool instead.
