Let's see your limit pictures. Not to degrade bowhunting to a game of numbers but since I started with traditional equipment nearly 10 years ago I've had the goal to tag out. As some states have had issues with over harvest I'll be more careful to limit my harvest of female animals. This was my 2014 season in pictures. 5 total 2 bucks, two does and one button buck. I had to pass up lots of bucks in late season due to my early buck harvests.
All were taken with my TallTines bow 60# at my draw and Snuffer or woodsman original broadheads.

November 5th and 6th private:

I have limited out on deer several times. Last year I went 4 out of a possible 5.

Opening day doe:

Nov 3rd doe:

Nov 16th, 7 point:

Nov 23rd spike:

I hunted hard from the end of November till the middle of Jan trying to get my last doe, but it was not in the cards.

Congrats on a great season, Michael!

Not me.  I am usually lucky to get one much less my limit.  My wife doesn't eat it so one deer if rationed properly can last me most the year. few things on the deer go to waste.

Congrats to you guys who can continually fill the freezer.

Well, since the deer limit here in Oregon is one.....not too hard to do. Add an elk in there also and it gets a little more difficult. Pulled it off last season!

Bisch your a killing machine.

Only times I have limited out was states with limits, here in SC its been shoot to your happy.
shoot straight shoot often

I haven't yet, but I likely could have if I was shooting.  Had bunches of opportunities to take close in deer, but I usually stick with one doe and maybe one buck per year if the right one comes by.   Trad bows are killing machines in the right hands, don't ever discount them.

I have... The most was 2, a spike & a doe.

Some years we get more tags than others...
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

I am not even sure what that would entail here in Alberta...several deer, a moose, an elk, a cougar, two bears, mountain sheep and even a goat once in a lifetime

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

I've taken my "archery limit" of two deer. However, I also carry my bow in "buck -  firearms" season (we are permitted to substitute the bow for a firearm) but have never taken all the legal number in one season... all with the bow. Now that is as clear as mud!   :knothead:

No limit here in NJ in certain zones. I've taken as many as six in one season but know of others who've taken lots more. Small state but lots of deer.

Our limit here is two bucks, I've done it only twice. 2011 a 5pt and 6pt and 2014 a 4pt and 5pt in 10 years of Trad bow hunting.

Good hunting. Bisch, what kind of bow are you shooting? Also are you guys using a climbing stand or is that from the ground?

My bow is a Sarrels Blueridge longbow. All of mine in the pics above were from a ground blind.

No limit on bucks in my area....4 does with over counter tags.  5 turkeys as well.  Never limited out or come close even with blackpowder or rifle...I tend to shoot what I need and then help others shoot theirs afterwards.

I have done the three doe tags one buck tag and three more land owner crop tags often enough.  The one that I want is the three daily bag limit on pheasants. I have gotten only two wild pheasants in one day, never the three.

I kill my limit ever year.  Some years it is zero.     :bigsmyl:

But its end is the way of death."  Proverbs 14:12

I fill all my tags every year with trad gear ( sometime I will hit one with a flintlock just for fun ) and do my best on the turkey that I can. I think for deer I have shot my limit on deer here in Texas with trad gear for about 18 years in a row now other than 2 or 3 taken with a flinter. I have  to keep the freezer full my little boy is 15 years old and is six foot three inches tall and weighs in at 275 pounds , and he can sure eat...
