Anyone shot both?

I am getting very interested in a very aggressive r/d longbow such as these.  

Any other ideas? 58" or less.

Shrew Classic Hunter from Ron LaClair or Javaman Elkheart from Gregg Coffey are similar, short, d/r bows.

I have both and a Shrew Super Samurai all three are
58" 60@28". The one I have shot the most is the Dwyer they are all just a little different but all three are some of the best short aggressive R/D bows out there. You wouldn't go wrong with any one of them.

I have owned 2 Thunderchildren and 1 Buffalo, 1 Dwyer but not an Endeavor.  Both bowyers are TOP quality.  The Thunderchild is highly pointable, quiet, quick enough and very very smooth for such a short bow.  It has the forgiveness of a much longer bow.  I shot one of my highest 3D scores with a Thunderchild.  The Shrews and Java bows have a bit more aggressive limb profile so they are a little more Zippy, but zero question having owned some of each I would be truly happy with any of them.  The 2pc Thunderchild I had I should have never sold, bonehead move LOL.  Thankfully I still have my Elk'!    :D    

As for the Endeavor, as I said Dwyer builds a superb quality bow, and I have no doubt the Endeavor is likely a joy to shoot like the other model Dwyer I owned.  

I can tell you that a 56" Thunderchild would easily accommodate a 28-29" draw and likely even 30.  The 58" would be super smooth for any draw length more or less.

I love my Helmsdeep for sure but I think I know what you guys mean now when you say you just want to try more....

I have finally decided the handle I like best. Basically just a long bow handle with enough of a locator to locate. My buddy has an old bear that I fell in love with (the handle). The Javaman handle is perfect really, I just want my wrist a bit more locked out.

The Endeavor is my top contender so far I think, I just wish I could find more info on it. But I havent read a bad think about it either.

The Endeavor is one I'd like to try as well.

Never shot a Big Jim bow. I did own an endeavor. Only reason I sold it was to drop in weight. The endeavor was a great bow. Drew smooth and launched an arrow with authority. I found it liked a heavier arrow for me. The dwyer grip is just great is size and shape. Can't go wrong with it.

The dwyer endeavor is a nice shooting bow.  Everytime I pull it out to shoot....It reminds me I can be a good shooter.  Don't know why I don't shoot it more.  The forward handle and wide limbs provide a lot of stability.  It is very stable and pointable.  Nice people to deal with also.

Thanks for the info fellas. Its hard to find many pics of the endeavers. Would you guys say the handle is a low wrist locator like l have pictured?

The handle on the Endeavor is very simpler to the picture above. The difference I found between the Shrew and Endeavor is at full draw the Shrew seam to be a lighter weight than the Endeavor but they both scale out the same weight.

Hmm l have never heard it explained that way. Both longbows? I wonder what would cause that?

Yes they are both 58" R/D long bows 60#@28". Go to the web sights and look at the profile of each there is a difference in the design this is the only thing I can think of.

there is no such thing as vs you need to shoot both bows and decide for yourself .....good luck......both are great choices.
