I was thinking about next deer season and am going to just stay with the WWs. I lay a file flat on them as I hold the arrow still and give a half dozen strokes, then rotate and do the same and in less than 2 minutes it's shaving hair. There is no angle to get or worry about' just lay it flat. And you get immediate feedback when you feel the file starting to grab in and remove material. What could be simpler?
I love then to spin the arrow and it just whirls. So fun so easy.
I've got all kinds of sharpening things- KME, workshop belt, stones,ceramic rods, jewel sticks.
But in the feild I just carry a little file to touch up and boom-it's ready!

I'm with you.  I've got a 10" bastard file and just run em down it til it makes me happy, then kiss with ceramic rods a little, eezy peezy.  The resulting blade angle doesn't seem to get that hair popping sharpness that you see on a well done 2 blade but I have zero doubt they will do the job and cut something nasty.

My thoughts exactly.  10" file and a ceramic rod and they shave better then my Gilette!

I've tried stones, sandpaper, etc, but using a file gives me the results I want. A few swipes on a piece of cardboard and they are popping hair.

I do the same thing with a 3-4 sided wet stone, start out with coarse side and work down to fine or very fine side, gets them scary sharp, works just as well on Snuffers..

What is so great is how easy it is with a cheap simple tool. Life feels special when you can Keep it simple

Seem like the factory grind was off.
Im switching to a 3 blade this year
not sure if I will go with the ww or the snuffer.

Agree!! That's why we shoot trad isn't it. Simplicity!!!
That said I like my woodsman's for sharpening too.
I recently got a back quiver so I'm a little torn of maybe having to go back to a two blade. But we'll see.

There are lots of good broadheads out there, but I've been shooting woodsman's for a long time, and don't see myself changing anytime soon. Great heads, and easy to sharpen to boot.

I have found that this little sharpener works great. I sharpen my tree sharks with it. Actually I got carried away and sharpened every knife in the house with it one day. It gets them to shaving arm hair.  

I love a good, sharp WW head. Darn kill faster then the devils red right hand!

I hollow grind mine, then just lay them flat as mentioned above. Super, scary sharp!
