Just got back from the Chippewa Bowhunters Trad shoot. Beautiful wooded property with rolling terrain. The course had a very nice target set up, one of the nicest I've seen.I'll be back next year. Thanks to all the members who made this a great shoot!

You got that right Lee. Chris and the rest of the club did a fantastic job. They had many new and challenging shots this year. I noticed a few dinged up trees Sunday morning. Great food and so many good people to talk to. It was nice meeting you Lee, see you next year.

We had such a great time again. This is the best shoot in the summer in WI.  My friends and I unloaded at the moose !

It was nice to shoot with you Lee

Excellent shoot to be sure. Love the mature woods.  Best is a relative term.  Ever shot the Horicon traditional shoot?  The trad shoot at Ojibwa? (Off-year PBS shoot will be held there later this summer.)

Just like the answer to the question about what's the best bow, Wisconsin has a half-dozen or more "best" trad shoots each summer. Make them all if you can.

Thanks guys.

Here's the "Thank you" thread I started:

Thanks again,

That was a fun shoot indeed.. By fun I mean shots that were set up to be close to what you would have in an actual hunting scene.. Great job for Chris who spent 6 hours setting that up.   cbh

Littlebigman, what range did you shoot that moose?
Bigfoot Sasquatch hybrid (The Dark One) 60", 44# @30"

Thanks Chris and crew for another great shoot, well worth the trip!  My boys and I had a great time as always.

Jim - It was good to shoot with you.  Zach mentioned again last night that he's going to practice all year and get that coke from you.

I missed it again this year - I really need to fix that because it is a great shoot!  We do have many to choose from here in WI, but the Chip is right up with the best!

Looks to be a great time. I hope to make it to one after I move back.

Jim, I see you are getting good practice on the moose    :bigsmyl:

Just wanted to say thanks again all.  With the number of shooters and 14 vendors, this was our biggest and best shoot yet.  Hope to see you all next year.
Chris
