I've been borrowing my wife's 62" HS lately, and I love how it shoots. It has the stock string on it. I do notice a little vibration on the shot, and from all the great feedback on these bows, I'm thinking it may shoot just a bit more quietly with a different (Flemish) string.

Anyone find their bow likes a particular string other than the standard endless loop?

Burnsie

Still shooting the stock model endless loop string that came with mine.  It is a fine string and is super quiet with just the rubber spider legs that came on it.  I plan to just keep shooting it, but will probably also order up a new one from Allen Schafer.  Love his strings and I may like it better?

You may tinker with brace height. I like Dan's strings, but I really really like SBD strings on a whip with wool puffs.  Braveheart Archery usually carries them...if you're not picky about colors you can get one in a hurry.

SBD from Braveheartarchery is my usual recipe for all bows, but it'll work splendidly on the Whip.

Id say its either brace height or arrow contact on shelf.
I've never had any problems with original Toelke strings.

I have owned a number of Dan's bows, mostly Whips and if you tune your set-up properly it's my impression you will be hard-pressed to find a better string.

Sounds like I should revisit the brace height. If I can convince my wife to let me!
