Looking for a solid, no frills, fast flight capable 58 inch recurve that has more riser mass than my Stingray.  What have you experienced with these 2 bows?  Does any others come to mind?  Thanks for your help.   :wavey:

I have a Super Griz and I was very surprised by it's performance . Very fast shooting  and FF compatible .
But I have to admit , I have only Bear's to compare it to .
So maybe I'm not much help , but I don't think you could go wrong with the Super Griz .

I had a Super Grizz for a time.  I draw just a hair over 29", and while many 58" bows can work for me I did not find the Super Grizz to have a pleasant draw feel past 27-28".  This was a 55# one.  At 50# or less YMMV. I shot a regular Grizz next to it that was the same weight owned by a friend of mine and that bow was slightly more pleasant but seemed less snappy.  I am certain it has to do with the additional 'special lam' they put in the SG.  If you draw 28" or less I see zero issues with a SG.  If drawing more I recommend a 60" Super K or even a KMag.  Even though the KMag is a lot shorter than the SG the deflexed riser compensates and makes it quite pleasant out to 30" at the moderate to lower draw weights.  If set on a 58" you might also consider the Martin/Howatt Mamba, or again at 60" perhaps the Sky Eagle.

Interesting you say that; I draw 28.5 and I have always felt that last little bit was definitely starting to stack with my Grizzly, whereas my KMag builds nicely all the way through the draw. I thought it was just me.
