Hey guy's I have a question for some of you that are knowledgable about vintage Bear bows. I recently traded for a Bear Super Grizzly. It is 58" 45# @ 28". I am just starting to learn more about the vintage Bear's. It has just below the model description written "with Fascor". Could anyone tell me what this is? Also I was trying to date the bow, my guess would be early seventies because of the K in the beginning of the serial number. Maybe some of you could tell me a little more specifically. This is a sweet shooter! Inexpensive and shoots better than some of my bows that cost seven times as much. Go figure! I will include some pics below. Any info you could give me about this specific model would be much appreciated. Thanks, Leonard.

I'm no expert but I would guess very early 70's or late 60's. Fascor is a unidirectional fiberglass, an improvement over early forms of glass. I believe Bear has started making their own FG at Grayling. Very nice looking bow. Good Hunting!

Thanks Cody, that's cool. I saw your add for the bow you sold. I received this bow yesterday and went back to look at your add again and it was gone. So as fate would have it you responded to my thread, pretty cool!
Anyone else have any info? Thanks, Leonard.
