Beautiful animal! Congrats! CK

Fantastic buck for sure.

As far as your question about the arrow spooking deer into running farther than if it was a pass thru. I believe an arrow ABSOLUTELY spooks a deer
into travelling farther. I have watched with my own eyes as a deer a friend shot ran up to within
sight of me and spun in circles trying to get away from the arrow. It would look directly at the arrow and run as if trying to get away from it. That particular shot was quartering into the chest, and hit the liver and both lungs. Total distance it travelled was about two hundred yards.
It may not affect travel distance every time, but I believe it certainly can.

Congrats on the buck! World class trophy for sure.

Bone buster i totaly agree why would a mature buck leave 100 acres of thick timber and go to 20 acres of timber that is wide open because the farmer has cattle in the timber. doug77
