I've got my first set of point swaged alumnium coming.  I know how these arrows tune with inserts.  Anyone know if the swaged point typically makes them stiffer, weaker, etc.?  I will of course tune when they get here, just looking for advice.

2117's fly from all my bows perfectly...both swagged and with inserts. Same length, same weight up front, same feathers. I couldn't find any difference in arrow flight or encounter any problems.
"Neal...is this heaven?" "No Piute but we are dam close". Top of the Mtn in Medicine Bow Nat Forest.

Thanks Joe.  That's what I've got coming, 2117, they shoot great with standard inserts and 175 grain points.  Hoping for the same with the swaged.

As long as you are working with the same total point weight at the same Back of point you should be right on.......... That said, with a well tuned set-up 10 to 15gr +/- should be OK............ Have several sizes of swagged shafts that I use for my hunting shafts and use glue in/on adapters for everything else............
Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!
