I picked up a mid 70's Bear 'Black Bear' recurve last Summer at Cloverdale.

I had not shot it much until recently.  It's one of those bows that plain shoots where I look.

Anybody else have a bow that just seems effortless as compared to others?

Many folks think they have to order a fancy custom bow with all the bells and whistles to get a nice shooting bow.

My grandpas 56" grizzlys like that for me, it's off at the bow hospital now, can't wait to get it back!

My Bear Cub is that way. Makes me look MUCH better than I actually am.

My Charron Archery Ambush bow is like that. I saw it, fell in love with it, shot it, and bought it.

I had....and sold like a dope...don't do that...64" widow plx...I've even had other plxs but none shot like that one did for me

The Black Bear was my first real bow. I wished I had never sold it......stupid kid.

Often, those "lesser" reproduction bows are incredible shooters.

Congrats on your find, its all over now... you wont be able to walk past an old bow for sale and leave it on the table.
