I am a left-handed shooter and my arrows keep flying to the right. Is this a sign that the arrow's spine is too high or too low? I have tried to find this information in some of the books that I have but I haven't found it yet.

I am trying to build some small game arrows with .38 cal casings for the tip so there isn't a lot of tip weight. If you have any information that you can share with me I would appreciate it.

What is the pound of yer bow at yer draw and what arrow are you shooting?
Can yiu see the arrow fishtailing when it goes down range.?
A Heavier tip may settle the arrow down a little.
sometimes you just have to take sevral different arrows and shoot them to find out what works.    
Is it a all Primitive bow or a glass bow?

To the right is sign of too much spine for a left handled shooter.
like Nugget said, you can increase arrow head weight to lower the perceived spine.

I half fill the .38 casings with small birdshot, then hot glue it to the shaft

Small lead fishing weight work also. Can melt them right in. Get a grain scale and try to keep em the same.

Thanks Manny that is what I thought but I needed someone to confirm it. I kind of figured the tip was too light because the arrows FOC is not very much and may be causing some of my problems.

Nugget    is right. I have been messing with this trying to make some small game arrows for some time and I haven't launched an arrow at a squirrel yet but I will someday soon.
The arrows don't appear to be fishtailing they just fly to the right.

I am shooting a 45# @28" recurve with fast-flight string. My draw is 29.5 so I am drawing a little over 45#.

What do you use to melt the fishing weights?

Put lead inside of 38 casing heat with torch intill melted let cool then hot melt to shaft.

A map gas  torch or acetalyne.
