Abowyer Brown Bear is pretty close.  If you get the glue on version you could probably hit right on 250 with the correct adapter.

Tuff heads have a 225, what's 25gr. amongst friends

I use grizzly 185 glue on with 75 gn insert. Although RMSG  is supposed to be making a 250 gn solid one piece screw in. Tge ones they make now, I think 200 gn look very nice

old_goat2

RMSG makes a 160gr glue on, should be close with a100gr adapter. They are starting to get some more choices in their new line of heads now. Great heads, I killed my deer with one this past season, still sharp enough to shave with after the shot!

Go with 160 Grizzly's, plus a 100 gr steel adapter.   RMS has the best price.  Just make sure you align them properly and get them as straight as possible.

May wish to evaluate the Tusker Concorde single left wing bevel 250 gn screw-in.

Trad Gang sponsor 'Braveheart' carries them.

I'll echo Warden's recommendation. The 185 grain Grizzly uses the thickest steel of all their versions, even the 200 grain Kodiak. The lightest steel adapter you can buy is 75 grains...using a steel adapter instead of aluminum will make your arrow significantly less likely to fail. You would be at 260 grains with this combo, which is plenty close enough.

Bluemoonrising  I got mine from A&M I think? But I have seen them elsewhere  also. Maybe Tuffheads? I think they have steel and titanium  in 75.. Tge titanium  are really  expensive  though.

I'm using 75 gr brass glue on adapters with 175 grain Abowyer Brown Bears.
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

RMSGear has a 250 gr screw in, I just got the 160 gr glue on to throw on 100 gr adapters.  There is nothing to dislike about this head.

I take the easy way. I get in contact with Abowyer and order x number of my favorite heads, which is the 175 grain Wapiti. I tell them to include adapters to make a total 250 grain head. There are many fine broadheads out there, and I would shoot most of them. For a 2-blade SB head, I have never been able to top the Abowyer for quality.

Kevin you need to give the cutthroat a try!
