Hello Everyone, my name is David.  I just recently got started in Trad Archery.  I made a selfbow from Red Oak and bought my 10 year old daughter a youth compound bow.  We have been shooting for a couple weeks now and went to our first 3D tournament yesterday.  I was referred to this site by a fellow archer at the tournament.

I am now addicted to making bows and plan on making many more and experimenting with techniques.

Thank you for the warm welcome.  The shoot was Yahi Bowmens Spring Fling at Modesto Reservoir.

Archery is the first thing I have found that keeps her interest.  And as you can see from her grouping on the blue arrows, she is a natural.

Hey I was shooting that target today also with my self bow. Welcome I'm in Modesto. This is a great place .
