Anyone familiar with this track?

I'm thinking of making a trip there tomorrow to do a little pig hunting and scouting.

I'm worried about access though with all the rain and the track being in between two rivers.

I am not familiar with that WMA but would imagine it is going to be pretty darn wet with all of the rain we have been having. Especially down in the lowcountry, but I could certainly be wrong.

The property that I hunt in Richland County is a giant soup bowl right now, and is generally fairly dry.

But if you do go good luck!

I'm sure there is a lot of water flowing down the Little Pee Dee and the Great Pee Dee!

I'm hoping that the high water might make the 26K acers a little bit smaller since this would be my 1st time!

indeed!

I dont know how high it is, but if it is up you should certainly be able to find the hogs on the high points!

Good luck!

The last time I was there the water was way down, the opposite of the current conditions. It is a good tract of land, with good roads throughout. Loads of hogs, too. I'll be hunting there in April.

The Wee Tee WMA is another good one, but it's best to have a canoe for that one.

I've never been there myself but I'd love to try my hand at some hogs if they're to be had. Is there a place to camp?
Love God, Love your neighbor.

That place wasn't public when I was growing up close by but it is a legendary piece of dirt.  Have fun and be careful.

The local "tech" called me and said that 90% of the roads are under water.  Since I don't have 4x4 I didn't make the trip. He did confirm that it is loaded with hogs!
