Me and Tracy on a great spring hunt in Kansas.

In three weeks I will be in Texas chasing turkeys and hogs. This year my Wife and Dad will be hunting with me. My Dad hasn't been on a turkey hunt with me in over 20 years and I am really looking forward to this hunt.

Wyoming bird, Lisa and I will be back out there again in late April!

Here is a bird from Texas with the sinew and copperhead backed bow that I am holding in the picture with Tracy

Still over a month here in Ky before we can start chasing them. Don't be teasing us like that. LOL. Congrats. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

I'll be starting to practice out of the blind soon for APRIL 27th opening day.  I booked a couple vacation days and have really high hopes.  The turkey population is doing really well here.  During one sit in Dec I had 14 long beards under my stand. This is quite a success story since the wild turkey was just re-introduced to Ontario back in the early 80's and we've only been allowed to hunt them in this area since 2003.  The Wild Turkey Federation and Ministry of Natural Resources did a great job.

Mike, only post pictures like the first and last one    ;)

We don't need to see any more of that nasty white stuff right now!

Good luck.

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

We got six inches of snow this weekend and I heard birds gobbling both mornings. I sure gives a feller hope for spring!

Turkey season in Florida is March 21 to April 26.  I can hardly wait to spend some time with the Osceola gobblers.  Brian

Good job with the birds Mike, congrats! I love to hunt turkeys. It opens May 1st here, so we've still got a ways to go. I have to be honest, I'm a little envious.   ;)  Great pictures, thanks for sharing. Keep after 'em.

Gobbling??? Holy Crap!!! All I hear is the muffled peeps from under 6 feet of snow up here! There isnt a turkey to be found here, by the time our May 1 st season opens, they will hopefully be migrating back from southern clime.  :scared:
